The Space Shuttle flew over Italy, also on the site of Bari, where the
calibration team is operative.
Two corner reflector and one active radar calibrator have been set up in the site (41.40°
N, 16.05° E).
The radar image show the response of the active calibrator (spot on the right) and the
response of the two corner reflector (the two spot on the left).
Hence, the experiment n° 3 (visit also the pertinent page on
this web site in the Italian Experiment Section) is in the evolution phase.
Another flight on the same calibration site is foreseen for the ninth mission day (Sunday,
February 20, MET 9/14:25:10).
